Hot Melt + Build Up Felt Roofing

Monolithic waterproofing membranes...more commonly referred to as “hot melt waterproofing” have provided industry with a viable waterproofing solution for heavily trafficked, inverted or bio-diverse roofs. The membranes are fully bonded to the substrate, self healing and when detailed correctly are able to withstand building movement well in excess of standard tolerances. Hot melt membranes by Advanced Roofing Ltd are a combination of rubberised bitumen, applied hot with carefully selected reinforcement fabrics and protection layers to form a strong, flexible, waterproof roof membrane. Advanced Roofing Ltd work with market leading supply partners to offer complete roofing solutions in monolithic membrane, with hard finishes, such as paving, decking or river washed ballast, and green or bio-diverse (brown) roofs. The life expectancy of monolithic membranes when correctly applied is certified as “the life of the structure it is applied to” which gives our clients greater security, reduced building maintenance and whole life cost benefits. Operating as a root barrier as well as waterproofing membrane hot melt membranes are ideal for use on roof or podium areas that will have permanent overlays such as paved terraces, plant room slabs/plinths and extensive or intensive living roofs.

Advanced Roofing Ltd can offer support to potential clients as the design of the roof evolves, including detailing advice and assistance with selection of finishes, co-ordination and programming, value engineering and budget/fixed costs for different options. Attaining a minimum qualification of NVQ 2 and attending at least one manufacturers training course are minimum requirements for our installers, which coupled with our rigorous quality control procedure to ensures Advanced Roofing Ltd deliver their promise of “right first time” every time.
Ideal for use on concrete decks, hot melt membranes are homogenous, self-healing and can be detailed easily around penetrations.
